Verandah (Suffolk/Essex border)

Verandaj Joinery  Verandah joinery
Another bespoke piece requiring a substantial oak beam as the main support overhead with hand carved words and motif, as per the client’s request. A fully finished roof, skylight and drainage completed this striking verandah blending difficult levels from the house into the paved patio garden.

Staircase/entrance door (Suffolk)

Residential Case Study - Stair Joinery  Residential Case Studies - Stair Joinery          Residential Case Studies - Door Joinery  Residential Case Studies - Door Joinery
A complex bespoke staircase replacement with a new half landing created at first floor level to access a new room. The owners also requested a front door with glass side panels and etched glass transom light. The owners had many quotes from other companies however none were willing to undertake the works due to the complexity of the staircase. We completed the job in a short time and the owners are delighted with the result.

“Just wanted you to know how pleased we both are with the new staircase. After five other companies said the job was too difficult, we were beginning to think we would never find anyone to take it on. The finished work for both the jobs is well beyond our expectations, and we will have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone wanting any carpentry work done.”

Bunk Bed Platform (Essex)

Bespoke Joinery  Bespoke Joinery  Bespoke Joinery
One of our individual and bespoke commissions from a client who specified various parts such as cupboards and an industrial pipe as a safety rail. Intended for a young person’s use, this fitted into a bedroom to create more space yet at the same time creating lots of storage. A stairway with the creation of cupboards underneath the steps leads up to the bed platform. More storage cupboards and shelving provides a huge amount of space and organisation, great for a growing young person! We used dovetail joints and varnishing for a fine finish.
